STEM is my world, I hold a Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Vienna. Today, I work in IT, specifically in cybersecurity.
I currently lead a team of systems engineers at Fortinet, one of the largest cybersecurity vendors in the world. I mentor and coach young women who want to pursue a career in tech.
Promoting more diversity in the tech industry and new approaches to work are very close to my heart for obvious reasons. I mentor and advise young women who want to pursue a career in tech. I hold #IAmRemarkable workshops for women who want to improve their self-promotion skills.
I've been a speaker at numerous events such as the WomenTech Network Global Conference, the "WT2 - Women Transforming Technology" Conference, Talent Acquisition Events and Women in Tech Meetups.
In my podcast, the "Women in Technology Spotlight," I talk to women working in tech about their careers and their development. By highlighting their stories and their roles, I make visible the diversity of career opportunities in the tech industry.
I also facilitate panel discussions with experts to discuss possible solutions to the current gender gap.
I'm a mentor for the WomenTech Network, SheTech Africa and at WoMentor.
I write about gender equality, feminism, tech, the new workplace and society.
